Grubhub marketplace, cancelled, and prepaid orders

Grubhub and cateringField guide 34 of 52

Grubhub’s statement guidance separates marketplace orders, cancelled orders, and prepaid orders. Prepaid orders can include activity from the restaurant’s Grubhub page, phone orders, partner channels, and branded channels. Those sources may not share the same economics or operating owner.

Build a section-level bridge before calculating a blended rate. Confirm which orders generated marketplace fees, which were cancelled, and which originated through another prepaid channel. If the detail needed to allocate a deduction is missing, keep it unassigned instead of spreading it across all sales.
