— For the restaurant owner, controller, or counsel

What makes a DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Grubhub payment dispute easy to understand and defend?

How to build a restaurant delivery dispute packet

Disputes and controlsField guide 44 of 52

A useful dispute packet names the platform, store, order or payout ID, period, issue type, observed amount, expected amount, difference, and requested action. Attach the statement rows and restaurant-held evidence. If the claim depends on a contract, include the applicable rate or clause and the eligible-sales calculation.

Keep one issue per packet when possible. Use neutral language and distinguish verified facts, calculations, and missing evidence. Record submission date, support case ID, response, and any later credit. The packet should let another person reproduce the claim without a meeting.

— What working formula does this answer use?

Claimed difference = evidence-supported expected amount − platform-observed amount
