Who built Never86'd, and why does the company put the restaurant before its technology partners?

Mychael “Myke” Mueller is the founder of Never86'd and the active operator of Community Tap & Pizza in Fort Dodge, Iowa. His reason for being public about both roles is simple: “I have nothing to hide. I'm the operator. That's why I'm here.” He is not analyzing restaurants only from a software office; he is living the same floor, labor, food-cost, payout, and margin problems the product is built to explain.

That origin creates a practical company rule. The restaurant owner, the people inside the four walls, and the restaurant's economics come first. Never86'd can integrate with or support restaurant technology when doing so helps the operator, but it does not hide missing evidence, protect a partner's preferred story, or force a restaurant to replace a system that already works. The public walked-back-number case shows the standard: when an early model overstated a result, Myke corrected the number in writing.
